Some inspiring examples of using mushroom spore prints as decorative artwork in the home. Of course, Martha was ontop of this idea awhile ago, with some beautiful framed examples on coloured paper. The only problem with this endeavor is it requires us to remove the mushrooms; Emily and I are unlike most mycologically minded folks who collect to eat or just harvest for collecting’s sake. We prefer to leave them be so they can spread their offspring for another generation, but I guess we could collect 1-2 specimens when they’re abundant and asks for forgiveness from the Fungi gods.

oooh! i like it a lot but i’m of the same mind-set as you regarding the removal of mushrooms.. hmm.. maybe there’s a work around
