This holiday my sister and mom brought out a huge archive of family photos from storage, some which I have never ever seen, including some professionally photographed shots from my parents’ wedding. To preserve the memories in duplicate, I invested in a new photo flat bed scanner to duplicate, store and colour correct what was obviously a very happy occasion in my parents’ lives. Seeing my parents so young and happy somehow is capable both producing a deep and joyous smile, while also gets the ole tear ducts flowing.

An interesting side note: the photographer who shot my parents’ wedding was from Sawtelle Blvd.
