I’ve got an inkling of desire of creating an updated version of this just using the worst in American architecture. I could even just limit myself to Los Angeles, which in turn would really be indicative of modern domestic architecture, since our nation’s landscape is strongly characterized by the recognizable and homogeneous. It would just be an illustration of Best Buys, Wal-Marts and Olive Gardens. Maybe I’d throw in the Luxor in the background, our modern day Great Pyramid of Giza.
